Jennifer Huang came from a place in China known for its rich culture, gourmet cuisine and
beautiful girls who love fashion. She came to the United States 16 years ago. She initially
majored in Literature. Even though her passion is fashion and writing, she studied in
Computer Science after she came to the United States, as she was interested in working
with computer software. She got her Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Wright State
University in Dayton, Ohio. After she graduated, she moved to Westchester, New York, which is
close to New York City, the world-renowned center for culture, cuisine, theater and fashion.
As a computer programmer, she found programming did not satisfy her creative needs. She had a
deep desire to work on something that was more challenging and different. Shuang has a
keen eye and interest in all things unique, beautiful and artistic. She soon found out designing
for a fashion doll was such an amazing and joyful job. But the idea of making her own dolls didn't
arise until she saw the beautiful collectible Barbie dolls on the Barbie Collector website. She
instantly fell in love with the collectible fashion dolls. This opened the door that led her
to making her own dolls. She didn't see any doll manufacturers making beautiful Asian dolls. The
existing Asian doll faces didn't resonate with her. She wanted her own ideal Asian fashion doll that
looked exciting, trendy and fashionable, yet had the classic beauty that people are fimilar with,
without having an overly modern look. This is how Jennifer Sue was conceived. Beautiful, chic,
yet traditional, Jennifer Sue, so far, has received enthusiastic response from only a handful of
doll shows. With 4 years of hard work, Jennifer Sue is finally born. Shuang has found that designing
fashion dolls has been the most Passionate part of her life, and coming from a country which
produces 90% of all fashion dolls, she is lucky to be able to create Jennifer Sue. The entire doll
making process involves lots of skilled hands and, of course, a creative mind. Shuang hopes
Jennifer Sue will expose people to the rich Asian culture. With our next release of dolls, Jennifer
Sue will have a new body, along with a new model from a model agent to model Jennifer's
